In early 2020, Technomix AG, based in Pommersfelden and a specialist in visual inspection methods, decided to relaunch its website. The goal was to create a modern, tech-oriented online presence that presents content and structure more clearly and explains topics in an accessible way.
Based on the user journey, we developed the look and feel of the new website, streamlined the existing page structure, and optimized the content for search engines—both organically and technically. We built the website using WordPress and, of course, made it responsive. As a special feature, we developed custom, short 3D animations to highlight specific topics, adding extra depth to the website.
In addition, we produced a 3D explanatory animation that briefly and concisely summarizes the process steps for a workpiece. To do this, we worked with Technomix to identify the relevant processes and USPs, and then handled the brainstorming, concept development, storyboarding, and copywriting, as well as the animatics, shading, lighting, and renderings. We created the animation in Cinema 4D using Redshift, edited it in Premiere Pro, and fine-tuned it in Adobe After Effects. The result also serves as the opening sequence for the new website and presents itself as a high-quality, informative, and at the same time classic animation featuring abstractly simplified elements.
